Vishnu engagement on 19 Oct

Actor Vishnu (s/o of Mohan Babu) is all set to enter the wedlock with Veronica, the daughter of YS Sudheekar Reddy, the younger brother of chief minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Their engagement will take place on 19 October. Mohan Babu has invited the entire press community to the engagement and gave a special invite to lunch in his house on 17th October. Ramu met Maddelacheruvu Suri?
Ramgopal Varma, who recently announced his movie "Raktha Charitra" on Rayalaseema factions, met Maddela Cheruvu Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri at Anantapur Jail and the parley went for about two hours, reports said. Earlier, Varma said that he had not met anybody in Rayalaseema area. The reports also observed that RGV is also trying to meet Paritala Sunita - the legislator and spouse of slain leader Paritala Ravi, to get the first hand information about the rivalry. Varma further wishes to get the ground facts from the people of Paritala's village and surrounding areas.

Ashwini Dutt says No to PRP
Popular producer Ashwini Dutt (of Vyjayanti Movies) today said that it was with the encouragement of Chiranjeevi that he joined the Telugu Desam Party. Talking to reporters at Vijayawada, he said that he would not leave the TDP and was ready to contest in the forthcoming elections if the party high command would direct him so. He responded like this when the media asked him about the chances of him joining the Praja Rajyam Party. "Chiranjeevi garu also supported me when I contested the elections last time. Chandrababu Naidu is my favorite leader and Chiru is my favorite actor. I am confident that we all will see Chandrababu as the next chief minister," Dutt said. On this occasion, he announced a donation of Rs. 5 lakh to the temple development.

Rajendra Prasad as Mahaguru
Popular comedy hero Dr. Rajendra Prasad said that he would soon be doing a film titled Mahaguru in the lead role. He revealed this to the media at Tirumala, after darshan of Lord Venkateshwara. He said he had put Ayyappa mala for the 29th time in his life without interruption. "Self discipline is the best kind of devotion and takes on toward the real path of spirituality. This is what I have been doing all these years. For the movie Mahaguru, I have to undergo some special yogic practice. The details will be announced to the media soon," he said.

Chandra Siddarth's comedy
Chandra Siddarth, the acclaimed director of Aa Naluguru, is going to produce a full-length comedy in the direction of debutant director Ajay. It will have new star cast and a popular hero will be doing a guest role. He told Idlebrain.com that his proposed film with Sharwanand-Meera Chopra combination with Zee films got temporarily shelved. Nenu Meeku Telusa? on 10 October
Manoj Manchu’s latest film Nenu Meeku Telusa? is all set to release on 10th October on the eve of Vijaya Dasami. This film introduces Ajay Sastri as the director. Achu’s music is doing well in the audio circles. This film sports Riya Sen and Sneha Ullal as female leads. Chiru's districts-tour from Oct 9
Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi will commence his tour of the districts from October 9, coinciding with the auspicious Vijayadasami Day. The tour will take off at Itchapuram in Srikakulam district and will pass through Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam districts for nine days. Tomorrow, Chiru will visit Gangidevpalli village in Warangal district. The village obtained the status of recognition at national level for its solidarity among all political parties and implementing total prohibition. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti (Oct 2), he will also hoist the party flag there. In the evening, he will visit the Darga at Kazipet.

Tejam with all new comers
"Tejam" is a youthful entertainer coming up with Rajasekhar as producer on Sunrays Entertainments banner. A. Raj KS Gopi, who received three Nandi Awards in 2006 for the documentary Live and Let Live is the director for this flick. A batch of eight young heroes will be introduced. The shoot will commence soon. The producer said: "We are happy to introduce all the new comers in this film. Currently, the music sittings are going on with Gana as music director." Cinematogrpahy is by Ramana Thota. Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction is by A Raj KS Gopi.

Chandra Siddhardha to produce
Chandra Siddhardha made his debut as producer with ‘Idi Sangati’ this year. Now he is going to new encouraging new talent by giving direction offers to others. The production number 2 on his banner Filmostav will be directed by a debutant called Ajay. Ajay has a rich academic background as his has done bachelors in IIT and masters in IIM. He also went to New York film school. This film will be launched on 9th of October on the eve of Vijaya Dasami.

Keka in USA by Chitram Movies
Producer and director Teja will be releasing Keka film through his banner Chitram Movies in USA. The interested parties send an email to kekamovie@gmail.com. This film introduces fresh faces. PC Sreeram handles cinematography. Chakri composes music and Thota Tharani is the art director. Keka will be released in the month of October.

Sangeetha's film Srimathi Kalyanam
Sangeetha, who shot to limelight with her "Okka chance please" performance in Khadgam, is going to do a female-oriented film titled Srimathi Kalyanam. Made on Ramasai Films, the film is produced by A. Venkatesh. Director is Sival (who earlier did the film Ooha). Sangeetha will be donning dual roles. The film is set for launch on Vijayadasami day.

Rs. 2 lakh theft at Vyjayanti office
A cash of Rs. 2 lakh was found missing at the office of Vyjayanti Movies (of Ashwini Dutt) office in Hyderabad, today. An office boy is said to have snatched the money and is at large. A complaint is registered with the police in this regard.

Kausalya Supraja Rama on Oct 9
Kausalya Supraja Rama, with Srikanth and Charmme doing the lead roles, is set for release on October 9th as Vijayadasami gift. Made on Suresh Productions, the film is produced by D. Ramanaidu and direction is by Suryaprasad. It also has a beeline of artistes, including Sivaji, Sairabhanu, Gowri Mumjal and senior comedians. Its music was scored by Koti and the audio got released recently. Talking to reporters, Ramanaidu assured the audience that the film is out and out for the family audiences.
